Ever since we changed routers, my computer connects to it, but I get about 9000 ping and about 40 kb/s dl speed on average. But if I start my computer on Safe Mode with Networking, it connects just fine and downloads everything and loads webpages at the speed it should. I've tried so many things and I'm at a loss. Can anyone help me with this?

I also think it's worth mentioning that if I go to someone else's house and connect to their WiFi, it works perfectly.

I'd try resetting the router by removing power for a minute or two.

If that doesn't fix it, you may need to replace the router. What kind of router do you have?
