Not enough memory

I am using windows live mail, and trying to send and email. Keep getting the message

Could not send
Not enough memory

Funnily I created another email after that, and it went through ok.

What do I have to do ? (please)

I guess that is the problem. I was forwarding some pics and didn't bother to check how big they are. I'll reduce them - thanks for the help!

 

I will thanks Cindy. I am having an awful lot of trouble loading things up on the computer - the hard drive is almost 4 years old, and I'm sure my registry needs attending to. I've done all the housework on it, there is plenty of space (only used 93.5gb and still have 372gb left. Trouble is I have two many duplicates on here which I am trying to sort out before I do anything about getting a new hard drive

 

First thing is that whatever you do, do not use any sort of registry cleaner Judy, they can cause severe damage to the system.
Secondly, if the hard drive is still working OK, there should be no reason to panic buy a new hard drive.

You can of course buy one and keep it handy, or better still clone your existing system on to the new hard drive as a backup, so you have it ready to install should the old one fail.

No, I would never touch the registry myself as I don't know enough about it - but meanwhile how can I stop programs from crashing (two in particular are "Windows Live Mail" and "Family Tree Maker" a genealogical program and how can I speed things up?

 

Run chkdsk /r on the hard drive and it may fix all your issues and as Nev says, no reg cleaners please!
