I did a major upgrade to the site. I bought a skin and modified a bit to get the look just right. There are still a few tweaks to do to it, but, for the most part it's done.
I also redid the frontpage and removed virtuanews and replaced it with vbadvanced homepage. The site is now controlled fully by vbulletin. One set of templates to edit.
I added a rss news feed hack and all I have to do now is set up users and feeds to post news. This makes my job easier since everything will be done automatically.

Tell me what you think.

I certainly like it. :) With a bit of tweaking it will be an excellent style. I also like the new front page engine. Must more streamlined than vNews.

Much better! One suggestion though, you may want to add some space between the forum listings & the forum headers, just a thought though.

BTW: Thanks for the link :)

I like the style. Only thing I've found is that in Opera the 'Quick Links' menu doesn't go over the Google ads, so hitting the right bar can be a bit of a challenge.

Edit: The one thing that I've noted is that the setting to place user info at the left no longer seems to affect the placement of the info; its always on top.

The ad placement will change. I just put them there temporarily. They will move to the the sidebar on forum home.

I think what happened is it grabbed all the news posts posted by the bot. They were probably new since the last time you were here. It runs every 4 hours.

Looks soooo much better than before, especially the frontpage (I hated the frontpage with a passion).

Great work Bob! :)

Wow, hadn't looked at the main page. Very nice. Also, the user info pane is in the right place now :) Awesome job, Bob. :D
