Hi.
I have a question and would like to know if anybody can help

I have 5 computers connected to a basic home network, 3 of those computers are connected directly to the main router. My 2 computers are connected to a seperate router while that router is connected to the main router. I was wondering if there was a way for all of the computers to become available over the network through the 2 routers. In other words, is there a way for the 3 on the main router to communicate with the 2 on the wireless router and vice versa. I have attached a diagram of the network setup.
Hope you guys can understand what im talking about haha.

Extra details about network:
3 Laptops:
- 1 with Vista Home Premium
- 1 with XP Home
- 1 with 7 RC1

2 Desktops:
- 1 with Vista Home Basic
- 1 with XP Home.

2 Routers
- Main Router = iConnect Access 624, IP Address - 192.168.1.254
- Wireless Router = D-Link DIR-300, IP Address - 192.168.0.1
Custom Built PC:
Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 @ 2.5GHz
2GB DDRII RAM
1TB SATAII HDD 32MB Cache
Nvidia Geforce 6200 AGP x8 Graphics @ 512MB

If I understand you right THIS should be of help, obviously you will have different settings as you have different routers but the basic steps should still be the same

If it Don't help please feel free to call me names and ask again. or if you have any problems, or don't understand anything.

Why are you using a second router - its unnecessary

I have my reasons... mainly because the main router is a long way away from where i have my computers situated. second reason, i like having my computers connected wirelessly, and the main router doesnt allow this. third reason, the main router only has 4 lan ports, and theres 5 computers...

Why dont you take the first router out of the equation - and you only need 4 LAN ports as you connect wirelessly with 1 of the 5 PCs ;)

Seriously there is no need for a second router - I have a server - 2 laptops - 3PCs in my house and a and 360 that connect wirelessly
the second router will be causing you all kinds of issues and slowing your speed

Then you have a Cable router and need an ADSL one
Get them all plugged into ONE router - that will solve your problem

the main router is an ADSL router, but my 2 computers use the wireless (cable) router. The wireless router is plugged into the ADSL router, but i want to know if theres a way i can make the 3 computers connected directly to the ADSL router able to access the 2 on the wireless router and vice versa.

We could be here for days - talking about configuration - buy this NetGear DG834GUK 54Mbps 5-in-1 ADSL2+ Modem, router, firewall, 10/100 4-port switch - Scan.co.uk

Sell your other 2 routers.

yes you can link the two routers, I too thought the same as Dalo when reading your first post. but decided that you must have your reasons. in my first post I gave you a link to a more detailed guide but basically what you do is

Hook up your main router, as usual.

connect the computer(s) that will be using the main router to the LAN port(s) using regular network cables.

Configure the home network. If you need help ask, This is where you can configure both wireless and hard wire settings. When you are finished, test the computer(s) to make sure you are able to access the internet.

Now that everything works normally, we will complicate matters by adding a second router. Connect a regular network cable to one of the LAN ports on the main router. Plug in the other end of the cable to one of the LAN ports on the cable router.

Hook up the computer(s) that will be using the cable router to the LAN port(s) using regular network cables.

You should now have internet access on all computers on the network. If each router has 4 ports and they are pigtailed with a LAN cable, then now 8 computers could be included on the home network. Well, actually only 6 because two of the ports are used up with the pigtail between the two routers. If one or both routers is wireless then you could connect even more computers.
