I think you are at a loss but stay on here and someone might come on with an idea for you. I have no ideas on how you can recover if you can't even do a system restore and are not using any backup programs. Sorry, but wait it out because someone may come up with something.

I am not at all sure what you have actually done. You say you can't find documents in "My Documents "but can you find the folder itself.
It looks like you have corrupted your windows operating sytstem in which case your only hope is to remove the hard drive and either slave it to another pc and try to retrieve your data or else obtain a usb caddy and attach it to another pc that way.

Good luck but I have my doubts. Let us know how you make out. I still think you will have to retrieve your data on another pc but that is based on very limited knowledge as to what may have happened.

I have to agree with Beeceebee. Best bet is to go out and get yourself what you need and spend whatever time you have to in order to get this fixed. Good luck but we'll be here to guide you if it doesn't work.

It sounds to me like you are using more than one PC - can you verify
I am not a myth.

What is "this program?" Rollback rx? If you only corrupted or changed your registry that may be of some help. But it is unlikely that is the problem.
I have already indicated that if you need to retrieve the data from the hard dive you may have to either slave it to another pc or use a usb caddy type interface to retrieve the information if it is still there.
It is not likely that a reset of the system even at a critical time would cause a complete loss of data.
