Hi Annie and welcome to our Computer Help Forums!

How frustrating it must be to try downloading video to only have the download run at the speed of molasses or be interrupted - ugh!! Just know that our Experts here will work with you step by step until a solution is found - they are truly always willing to help - plus have infinite patience so you need never worry about popping back to let us know if a solution still needs to be found. And of course, we love to know when things are running perfectly once again too. :)

It really is lovely to have you here with us and I do hope you'll feel comfortable popping into any of the existing threads, including our 'Community Lounge' area, or simply starting another of your own. Either way, do look forward to reading your posts and again, welcome Annie!!

Kind thoughts,
Mara

What a lovely welcme, Mara. Thank you so much. And I really appreciate the sympathy for my problem!

Hello to all - a bit about me:

My first computer was a K-Pro, purchased about 1982, when NO help was available. It was a MS-DOS, great system, learned through trial and error. I wrote a couple of novels on it and many professional reports/evaluations until it died. William Buckley and Arther C. Clarke were also using K-Pro at the same time. But I've never had anything published, even my family thought I shouldn't continue.

A professional report writing program on Windows continues to be a boon and I'm an expert on it. Otherwise I'm a dork on almost everything else except email, Skype, and downloading and sharing photos.

This site is so welcome to find. And, we're looking at several possibilities for the problem now.

Look forward to exploring more, such as the tutorial for Paint this morning - thanks!

I know we have "met" before in another thread :) but I still want to add my welcome to the others. Please feel free to explore and post when it suits you. You do not have to have a problem to be an active member. I hope you continue to follow up on your existing thread because there are some areas of concern there. We will get to the bottom of it.

I think we really have only one absolute rule that we are really a stickler about....Once we have you here, you are not permitted to leave, not ever. Don't worry though, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself... Wait, WUT? I hope you like a goofy bunch of nuts, we are very serious when it comes to helping solve computer issues. BUT, We love to have fun before, during and after....

Oh yeah, one more little thing, if you see or hear from this dude goes by the name of Match, run....as fast and far as you can, quickly. We have no idea who he is or where he came from. He may or may not be harmless, so be careful.....For some odd reason he thinks he is not only a member here...he also thinks he is an Administrator. He's not but we play along with it anyway, never know how he might react if we told him he's not or yikes, here he comes, RUN!!!! Posted Image Posted Image
