What use is that, more importantly can it make a hot drink and a sandwich?

Not jealous in the slightest :P

Hi Patrick,

How did you get the computer restarts time?  I've never seen that one before....
The Thuban runs at 3.2 GHZ (not overclocked):D

No, It's just a WD Black Caviar, no solid state...

Before I built this one I had the
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition Deneb 3.4GHz.
I sold my i7 build but I kept the AMD. I'm no longer using Intel, I'm loving AMD.

Can't go wrong with AMD. Please tell me the model ID number of your WD Black Caviar.
Too bad the W.I.E. tool crashes if you try to test when overclocked...

I've been looking a doing a little tweaking along the lines of

Phenom II X6 1055 thuban 2.8Ghz with a 20% OC
MSI 870A-G54 DDR3 1800/2000(OC) Sata III
4GB DDR3 PC3 16000(2000)
640 GB WD Sata III HDD

OK I'll admit it's more of a new build than a tweek :P :snckr:

But will have to wait till the first Quarter of 2011 while I save the pennies. at least giving up smoking has some rewards :D
