So i disconected the power line from the router so i could install a hub. I installed the powered hub and connected the powerline, router, cable modem and desktop to the hub. And now i get internet to my main computer, but not to my other computer upstairs. The softwear for the hub says that my upstairs computer is connected and should be working, but the upstairs computer doesnt even see the network. Im using a Trendnet hub.

Hi, and welcome to CHF

What is the make and model number of the router and the model number of the hub please ?

Disconnect the hub and go back to the original configuration with the router.
Can you connect from the upstairs computer now?

I assume that the upstairs computer is wireless ?
